Full of useful tutorials on taking better pictures. I can never navigate the printed manuals - This is MUCH much better

Thought I was getting a free tutorial. Instead they wanted me to pay $27 for the app. Not really free then. False advertising

Nothing was noted in the description about having to purchase anything. I dont care how much or how good the manuals are, I wont buy any because of the deceit.

App does not have any free lessons or camera guidance. This app is simply an advertisement selling $29.00 manuals. By the way, every feature on your camera and how to use each in what situation is free in the manual and free for download, even as an official Nikon, Cannon app. Plus, on most nikons, just hitting the question mark button on the camera while viewing every menu will teach you most of what you need to know. Its all free already... Ill buy an inexpensive roll up water proof weather and snorkeling protector instead. That way Im confident that if it starts raining on a shoot (Portland, OR...) I can have it rolled up ready in my camera bag. The manual is absolutely step by step and free. Plus, Im confident there are plenty of free videos with hours of demos for every feature.

SOME PEOPLE GIVE THIS APP BAD REVIEWS, ONLY BECAUSE THEY ARE CHEAP. THIS APP IS GREAT! YES, YOU DO HAVE TO PURCHASE IF YOU WANT TO LEARN. BUT, THAT IS THE NATURE OF THE BEAST. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THIER CAMERAS WITHOUT READING ALL THE MANUALS. ESPECIALLY PEOPLE WHO ARE NEW TO DSLR.

The other reviews must be from a marketing company paid to write positive reviews! They say it is a free app but the books are $30! This was a waste of 15 minutes of my life.

Why cant you pause and return where you left off? It is frustrating to have to find where you left off when restarting the tutorials. To add this functionality would be great and time saver. After all, everyone else uses it. Not to mention you cant always get though the entire hour.I also think the Nikon D800 tutorials should have been bundled. I did not expect the $30 fee per book, and the D800 basics seems so limited and a waste of money it should be combined. I am disappointed. The previous paragraph was posted prior to completing the tutorials. And now that I just finished watching the tutorial I am even more disappointed. I paid $30 for a little over one hour of what I already learned for free on Utube from SnapChick? I thought you were offering extensive tutorials. WHAT A WASTE!!!!

DO NOT DOWNLOAD!! Its only a "Portal" to pay Way Too Much for videos an learn your camera that can be watched an learned on the web, for free!!

I rather buy it directly from quickpro or magic lantern. I bought one thru this and it didnt download completely and I cannot get refund for this. They better leave it as it was.

It would cost hundreds to buy all of the in app purchases. There are much cheaper alternatives.

Would have been great to have had this app when I got my new camera at Christmas!

Found some great tips in the free content, but the detailed, easy to follow instruction in the Canon 6D guides have taken the enjoyment of my camera to a whole new level.

Please give more notice for sales.

Useless. Its just a catalog to purchase books. No real help.

It costs $25 for in app purchase to even learn or read anything. They link to the purchase apps through the store and I am assuming so they get a cut. Worthless crap

This is just a storefront for camera books. Stupid.

Waste of time. Just a catalogue of overpriced manuals freely available elsewhere. It should be titled "Camera manual storefront" and then folks will not get frustrated or feel mislead. Apple rating is also corrupt: it shows perfect six 5-star ratings on the ratings for some reason.

After making a $24 in-app purchase and downloading it 6 times I have yet to get it to open. It seems to install, but when I click on it all I get is a split black and white screen. Repeated clicking and I get a message that there was an error downloading and I should try again. My ISP charges for downloads and repeatedly downloading 484.76 mb is getting costly.
